Tập đoàn Marubeni của Nhật Bản hôm thứ Năm cho biết họ và Công ty China Aluminum International Engineering Co. của Trung Quốc đã nhận được một đơn đặt hàng cho một nhà máy luyện nhôm tại Việt Nam, theo đó Marubeni sẽ cung cấp vật liệu xây dựng cho Trung Quốc, còn phía Trung Quốc sẽ điều hành xây dựng và sản xuất cho nhà máy mới ở gần biên giới Cambodia. Marubeni: Received Vietnam Aluminum Material Plant Order

TOKYO (Dow Jones)--Japanese trading house Marubeni Corp. (8002.TO) said Thursday that it and China Aluminum International Engineering Co. have received an order for a smelting plant for a key aluminum material in Vietnam.
Under the accord, Marubeni will help provide construction materials to the Chinese company, which will engineer and construct the new plant near the Cambodian border. The new plant will be completed in 2011 with annual output of 600,000 metric tons of alumina, a key aluminum material.
The order from Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group is the second it has received in Vietnam together with the Chinese company after a Y50-billion alumina plant order north of Ho Chi Minh City in July. A Marubeni spokesman declined to give specific details but the latest order is valued at the same size as the order last year.
