1.       Dùng 2 cái link dưới đây để vào website DemocracyForVietnam.net để gửi hai thỉnh nguyện thư;
2.       Vận động gia đình và thân hữu gửi thư hay giúp họ gửi thư qua máy PC của mình;

- Letter to Secretary Clinton:

Calling President Obama to list Vietnam as a “Country of Particular Concern”
US to take action in response to the systematic religious oppressions by Vietnamese government
Since obtaining the membership to WTO, the government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam had conducted a continuous crackdown on human rights and arrest scores of dissidents and religious leaders.  The situation has escalated to the point where anyone who related to the victims of these religious oppressions are being criminalized the government.  The arrest of Cu Huy Ha Vu, a lawyer who represents the residents of Con Dau, was a perfect example of the systematic oppression tactic used by the government.  Con Dau is a village near central city of Da Nang whose residents faced government organized harassment, torture and arrest for refusing the refusing to sell their land, particularly a religious burial site existed over 135 years, to create an eco-tourist resort.
Before Con Dau  land dispute, there were Dong Chiem, Tam Toa, Thai Ha.  The Unified Buddhist Church of Vietnam, the Mennonite Church of Vietnam, the Hoa Hao Church of Vietnam, and the Cao Dai Church of Vietnam, all are facing the same oppression from the government.  Their leaders are either arrested or under house arrest, and they are constantly being harassed by the government.
The religious violations committed by the Vietnamese government over the years were all documented well in the Vietnamese press, as well as the western press.  The government of the United States, as well as the governments of other western countries such as Australia, Norway, France, including the Vatican, had raised their concerns with the Vietnamese government.  However, the oppressions continue at a faster rate and much more organized.  The brutality in each subsequent violation is a few bars higher than the last one.  In the end, the people of Vietnam are the ones who are suffered.
It is time for the United States government to take a stronger action: Put Vietnam back on the list of “Countries of Particular Concern” for its systematic violations of religious freedom.
Please join us in writing to President Obama and requesting him to review the US policy pertaining to this issue and take the appropriate action.  Vietnam must be on the CPC list.  Please do it today.
